Weather data is gathered by a Davis Vantage Pro and the information is updated onto the website every 30 minutes.

It does not forecast the weather, but at least you know what the weather is doing just North of Mablethorpe (O/S Map Reference: TF 4990 8655) at present. The weather station provides the following information.  Just follow the relevant link from the menu on the left to view it.

Holivans also has a Boltec lightening detector, which registers lighting strikes within a 438 mile radius.

A lightening strike shows a white -- for one minute, which then turns to a yellow dot. This page is also updated every 30 minutes or more often if there is some real action going on.
